NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The North Charleston Police Department has arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery incident last weekend.
Dameon Ronell King Jr., 22, is charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
An officer responded to a gas station in the 3600 block of Dorchester Road after receiving a report of an armed robbery on Sunday. Upon arrival, the victim told police that he had gone to the Mobil 10 to get change for a $20 bill before returning home.
After he arrived home, he was approached by King, who asked whether he had any change. When the victim told him that he did, King allegedly pulled out a gun, demanded money and threatened to shoot him. The victim handed over the cash before driving away…
