MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A Mount Pleasant man with a large social media following has been released from the Charleston County Detention Center after being charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and criminal solicitation of a minor.
The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office announced the arrest of Carson Dean Barry, 23, on six charges related to the alleged sexual exploitation of minors.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators with the Mount Pleasant Police Department arrested Barry on Sept. 10 after receiving a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children…
