NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A woman is facing charges after North Charleston Police say she fired gunshots during a physical altercation between several people Monday evening.
Courtney Alexis White, 24, is charged with discharging a firearm within city limits.
Officers responded to an assault and gunshots in the 5300 block of Smoky Street in the Glynn Terrace community around 7 p.m. Upon arrival, officers detained three people and placed them in handcuffs. The three people told officers that they had been assaulted by a group of people.
White told officers that her sister had been involved in a fight at school earlier that day and that her sister received text messages from the group involved in the fight. The messages included pictures of their home and threats that they were coming to confront her…
