Johns Island man accused of getting SC driver’s license under another name

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a man with allegedly using another person’s name to obtain a driver’s license.

Issac James Grimball, 44, is charged with fraudulent application for a driver’s license, first offense.

According to the affidavit, Grimball entered the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles in West Ashley on Oct. 19, 2022, and fraudulently obtained a South Carolina driver’s license under another name. He allegedly identified himself as someone else and was issued a driver’s license in that name…
