NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston Police K-9 Sergeant Craig Akins rescued a tiny kitten from almost getting struck by a vehicle on Ashley Phosphate Road.
Sergeant Akins caught the kitten on Ashley Phosphate Road and contacted the Charleston Animal Society for assistance.
After caring for and fostering the kitten, Sergeant Akins and his family decided to adopt him so he could be a permanent member of the family…
