NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A convicted felon is facing multiple charges after police say he struggled with officers responding to a disturbance call early Sunday morning.
Kevin Michael Rouse, 38, is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, receiving stolen goods and third-degree assault.
North Charleston police officers responded to a call at a house in the 7600 block of Brandywine Road in the Pepperhill community around 2 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a disturbance involving a gun.
Upon arrival, they heard a disturbance from inside the house, so police ordered Rouse to leave the home to de-escalate the situation.
