CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded more than $6.2M in engineering and design contracts as work advances on the Battery Extension project, a major effort aimed at improving coastal flood protection on the Charleston peninsula.
The Charleston District awarded two contracts to the Stantec-JMT Joint Venture of North Charleston.
