Former Charleston County deputy charged after ‘inappropriate inmate relationship:’ SLED

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A now- former Charleston County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been charged with misconduct in office after allegedly having an “inappropriate relationship with a CCSO inmate,” according to a warrant affidavit provided by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Jetil Alexia Teron Christen Warren, 28, following a request from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the case.

According to SLED, between spring 2026 and July 21, 2026, Warren accepted gifts and other services from a CCSO inmate while employed as a deputy. Those benefits allegedly included jewelry, including a ring, lunches, cosmetic procedures, and manicures and pedicures…
