MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The public is invited to celebrate October as National Seafood Month on the Mount Pleasant Seafood Trail, a new guide to local restaurants that spotlight South Atlantic seafood.
The restaurants featured in the guide have received a “Source Local Pledge.” The markers indicate that the restaurants offer at least one regular or seasonal seafood menu item that is wild-caught and harvested from South Atlantic waters, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
