Two men found guilty in 2023 North Charleston murder; one sentenced to 45 years

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — One man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison, and another is awaiting sentencing after a jury found both guilty of the 2023 murder of Emmanuel Johnson in North Charleston.

Qutairus Capers-Mitchell and Ti’Zaveis Grampus were found guilty of murder following days of testimony involving surveillance video, cellphone data and fingerprint evidence.
