DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — The mother of the 20-year-old Charleston man who was shot and killed and left in a burning vehicle in April of 2024 is demanding answers after two of the four individuals charged in the case were reportedly given a plea deal at a Monday trial.
Zyon Vaughn, 17, Brandon Eric Steplight, 19, Dominique Dawson Jr. 18, and Tyshawn Mashack 23, were all arrested in connection with the death of Omarion Brown, who was found dead in a burnt vehicle on April 13, 2024.
Vaughn was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. According to prosecutors, Vaughn told his co-defendants that he fired the shots that killed Brown, then drove the vehicle to Ladson, where it was found by deputies…
