Woman Killed In Crash On Jedburg Rd. ID’d By Coroner

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – A woman involved in a crash Friday night has died, according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.

Coroner Darnell Hartwell said Anna Sampson, 77, of Summerville died Saturday just before 9 p.m. at a local hospital.

The crash happened Friday on Jedburg Road in Summerville. Sampson was driving a 2003 GMC Yukon at the time of the collision.

Pine Ridge Fire & Rescue, Berkeley County EMS, and the Berkeley County Sherriff’s Office responded to the incident.

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.
