Clearing Out & Chilly This Evening & Tonight!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A fast moving disturbance is starting to pull away from the Lowcountry for the second half of the day, but most of the area will remain under plenty of clouds. Even though the rain chance will lower, a spotty shower or two will be possible through this afternoon. We expect a mostly cloudy sky to keep the temps cooler today. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 50s. Sunny skies will return on Thursday following a colder start first thing in the morning with temps in the 30s. We’ll reach the low to mid 60s by Thursday afternoon. Sunny and milder weather will continue into Friday and Saturday before another storm system heads our way on Sunday. Clouds will increase during the day Sunday with the chance of showers arriving either in the afternoon or evening hours.
