NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle Wednesday night right before 10 p.m., said Harve Jacobs, NCPD Spokesman.
Traffic Units arrived at Rivers Avenue near Piggly Wiggly Drive and discovered the motorcyclist was injured. EMS took the male motorcyclist to a nearby hospital.
The Charleston County Coroner’s Office notified NCPD that the motorcyclist died at the hospital. The coroner’s office has not released the name of the victim yet.
NCPD is investigating this collision. This story will be updated.
