Cool Night Ahead Then Nice Saturday!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Nice weather to kick off our weekend. A weak cold front will move through tonight, bringing a slight cool down for the weekend. Sunny skies are still expected Saturday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. A storm system will approach on Sunday increasing the clouds as the day wears on. Showers should hold off until sunset or later. It will feel cooler on Sunday with the clouds around but highs should still manage to reach near 60 degrees. A developing area of low pressure to our south will bring the chance of rain Sunday night into Monday. Depending on the track of this storm, it could be a soaking rain or barely any at all. There will be a sharp drop off in rainfall totals on the northern side of this storm. We will turn breezier as this storm develops nearby with gusts near 30-35 mph on Monday. Any shower chance should be gone by Monday night. Cooler and drier weather will then be in place through Wednesday before a warm-up begins late in the week.
