JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) – Charleston Police a mechanical issue that temporarily shut down the Wappoo Cut Bridge has been repaired. Police said on X, formerly Twitter, that traffic was flowing again across the bridge as of 3:46 p.m., approximately a half-hour after they first said the bridge was closed.
