North Charleston Police announce number of illegal guns recovered in January

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The North Charleston Police Department announced on Tuesday how many illegal guns they recovered during the month of January.

According to the department, patrol officers confiscated 25 unlawfully carried or illegally possessed guns from the streets of North Charleston.

Out of the 25 cases, police made 23 arrests from those incidents.

NCPD reminded citizens that they are proactive in patrolling the street to keep them safe in a statement on Facebook.
