CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – It’s a cold start to our Wednesday with temperatures in the 30s and wind chills in the 20s. We expect a sunny sky with the wind turning lighter today, highs will top out in the upper 50s this afternoon. Expect one last cold night with lows in the low 30s inland, mid to upper 30s near the coast. There will likely be plenty of frost tomorrow morning with lighter winds and more moisture in the air. We’ll begin a warm up Thursday afternoon with highs in the low 60s and an even bigger jump is on the way Friday when temps will reach the low 70s. Clouds will be on the increase late this week but we should stay dry through Saturday. Scattered showers are possible on Sunday with highs in the low to mid 70s this weekend. The best chance of rain will come through the area on Monday.
