NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting at Joppa Avenue in December. John Thomas Jones Jr., 22, is charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a deadly weapon during a violent crime. He was apprehended on Feb. 8 at Ashley Avenue in Charleston, according to the NCPD.
