Annual ‘Undie Run’ on Folly Beach raises money to fight childhood tumors

FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCSC) – About 150 runners dropped their pants to take part in an annual event to help find a cure for a condition that affects 1 in 2,000 births. The 10th annual Cupid’s Undie Run raises money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation and its work to find a cure for neurofibromatosis and to improve the lives of those who are affected by it. The condition causes tumors to grow along nerves, according to Cupid’s Charity website, which sponsors the event on Folly Beach and similar events nationwide.
