CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – An early-morning house fire left a portion of a home on Ashley River Road thoroughly burned. St. Andrews Chief Fire Marshal Kevin Berkel said fire crews with the St. Andrews and City of Charleston Fire Departments responded to the 2400 block of Ashley River Road on reports of a structure fire just after 1:30 Saturday morning.
