Georgia man convicted in $1.9M ‘staged’ bank truck robbery after organizing plot over Snapchat, posting photos while posing with stolen money

CHARLESTON, S.C. – A 28-year-old man from Cedartown has been sentenced to more than five years in federal prison for his role in a $1.9 million robbery from a bank truck. Terry Tyrone Pollard was convicted of bank larceny as well as a count of conspiracy to commit bank larceny. He was one of five individuals indicted, and the only one to not plead guilty in the case. He went to trial and was found guilty in March 2023. Pollard was sentenced to 63 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
