Late night show host Stephen Colbert holding social event at Gaillard Center

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)— Stephen Colbert, host of “The Late Show,” and his wife Evie will host a social event this fall in Charleston to discuss the couple’s new cookbook.

An Afternoon with Stephen Colbert and Evie McGee Colbert will take place on Sept. 22 at the Gaillard Center, with tickets starting at $75. Ticket purchases include a take-home copy of the cookbook Does This Taste Funny? Recipes Our Family Loves , written by the couple.

During the social event, Stephen and Evie, who both grew up in Charleston, will share recipes from the book, which includes party food, seafood, desserts, drinks, and more. To purchase tickets for the event, click here.

Stephen took over the “The Late Show” when David Letterman retired from broadcast back in 2015. Evie and Stephen also founded a production company called Spartina Industries, which has a first-look deal with CBS.
