Weak front to drop humidity, rain chances this week!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A weak front will remain stalled across the area keeping the chance of scattered showers and storms in the forecast each day. Storms will develop this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding in some spots. This front will slowly start to slide down the coast overnight and Wednesday allowing for drier air to begin to filter into the area. The coverage of storms will start to decrease on Wednesday with most places staying dry by Thursday. Humidity will slowly decrease as well leading to a drop in overnight low temperatures and afternoon heat index values.
