RAVENEL, S.C. (WCSC) – A Lowcountry fire department that serves the second largest area in the state is replacing a historical station to fit the growing Ravenel community. The St. Paul’s Fire District is breaking ground on a new fire station along Hyde Park Road in Ravenel Friday morning at 10. The $3 million project will replace the former 1,000 square foot station two building.
