CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A wedge of high pressure has brought unseasonably cool, dry air to the Lowcountry over the past few days. A trough of low pressure offshore will battle the dry air today and this weekend trying to increase the moisture enough to lead to a few showers and storms. High temperatures will only reach the low 80s today but will start to warm up this weekend with mid 80s on Saturday and upper 80s Sunday. Next week looks dry and sunny and hot and humid. Highs will return to the 90s.
