Rain chances increase over the Labor Day weekend!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Another hot and humid day is expected across the Lowcountry with highs in the low to mid 90s inland and upper 80s at the beaches. The heat index will peak near 105° this afternoon. Isolated showers and storms are possible this afternoon with any rain that develops fading away very quickly this evening. The rain chance will stay low through Saturday before increasing as we move through our Labor Day weekend. A weak cold front will slide into the area from Sunday into Monday increasing the chance for showers and storms. High temperatures will remain 90° or above through Labor Day but will likely drop into the 80s by the middle of next week.
