Joint Base Charleston took to the skies today, sending many of its C-17 cargo planes into the Lowcountry skyline. It’s part of a military exercise called “Explodeo 2.0.” Capt. Kaeli Jones, Operations Officer with the 437th Aerial Port Squadron, says the point of the exercise is to see “how quickly can we deploy our aircraft and our personnel. How can we get out the door, is ultimately the goal.”
