NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department and the City of North Charleston are offering a $7,000 signing bonus for any certified law enforcement officer who joins the agency.
It’s part of a recently announced incentive program aimed at attracting experienced officers who are dedicated to serving the community and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
North Charleston city officials said the initiative reflects the city’s commitment to public safety and investment in building a strong, dedicated police force.
Current NCPD officers are also eligible to receive a $7K bonus if they refer a certified officer who is ultimately hired by the department.
“We are proud to offer this incentive as part of our commitment to enhancing public safety and fostering a collaborative and effective police department. We believe this bonus will attract experienced, certified officers who share our passion for community service and public safety,” said North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess.
