SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) – Two Lowcountry police agencies are holding a joint briefing Thursday on the investigation into a Summerville killing. Summerville and Moncks Corner Police called the briefing for Thursday morning following the arrest of Roger Lavar Smalls, 35, on charges of murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, first-degree burglary, first-degree arson and desecration of human remains.
