CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – Those around the Lowcountry are preparing for this weekend’s Service Academy Day. On Sunday, students and parents will have the opportunity to be introduced to the nation’s five service academies and learn about the application process. Rep. Nancy Mace is hosting the event at The Citadel’s campus at Bastian Hall, where she was the first female cadet to graduate. Individuals from Rep. James Clyburn’s office and Sen. Tim Scott’s office will also attend.
