CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – Upgrades are coming soon to one West Ashley community. Charleston was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation for revitalization projects in the Ardmore-Sherwood Forest neighborhood. City officials said it’s a two-year program focused on the work being done and encouraging community engagement.
