According to a new report, a city in SC has America’s third highest ST rates for 2024. According to the report, the study was conducted by Inner Body and the company used information from the CDC’s latest STD Surveillance to determine which cities across America have the highest STD rates.
According to the report, Columbia came in at #21. According to the report, the city has 134 HIV cases, 7,172 Chlamydia cases, 3,007 Gonorrhea cases, and 128 Syphilis cases.
Columbia was not the only SC city on the list. Charleston came in at #52 on the list and has 96 HIV cases, 5,468 Chlamydia cases, 2,098 Gonorrhea cases, and 135 Chlamydia cases.
