CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) – “Adopt, don’t shop” is the message from Pet Helpers, trying to help cats and dogs 6 months and older find a loving home. Pet Helpers is participating in the ‘Empty The Shelter’ campaign as part of their mission to end the euthanasia of all adoptable cats and dogs by operating a no-kill shelter and promoting forever adoptions for animals who have been rescued in the Charleston area. This is part of a national initiative from Bissel Pet Foundation.
