Trader Joe’s Set to Open 4th South Carolina Store

There are currently three Trader Joe’s locations in South Carolina. One is in the state capital, Columbia; another is in Greenville; and a third is in Mount Pleasant (MP), just outside of Charleston. The company website has announced that a fourth location will open later this week on October 18th. This new store will also be in Mount Pleasant, just five miles from the existing MP location.

The new market will be at 1909 Hwy 17 N, Mt. Pleasant. It occupies the space formerly held by Bi-Lo grocery store, adjacent to the Town Center. The store offers easy access to the Isle of Palms community via the IOP Connector. It will open for business at 9 AM on the 18th. The other Mount Pleasant location is at 401 Johnnie Dodds Blvd.

The Company, which is headquartered in California, operates nearly 600 stores in 42 states.
