Charleston neighbors request non-lethal coyote control on Upper Peninsula

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Wagener Terrace community is suggesting a formal coyote mitigation plan that focuses on education, deterrence and avoidance over lethal action. Neighbors across the Upper Peninsula have reported an increase in sightings and encounters since August. Many of them were confirmed through security cameras, prompting questions about population control.
