CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Another warm and sunny day is expected across the Lowcountry with highs in the mid 80s inland today, mid 70s at the beaches. A weak cold front will move through tonight and will have minimal impacts on our weather. Highs will be slightly cooler, in the low 80s, to wrap up the work week. A second cold front will slide into the Southeast this weekend. Ahead of the front, we’ll be near record highs on Saturday. The record high temperature at Charleston International Airport is 87° set in 1939. Sunshine and dry weather is expected Saturday but the cold front will bring in cloudier, cooler weather for Sunday. A few spotty, light rain showers may be possible on Sunday too. We’ll go from highs in the mid 80s Saturday to the low to mid 70s Sunday.
