Weekend cold front to bring cooler temps, shower chance!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A weak cold front moved through overnight and another, more significant, cold front is on the way over the weekend. Today it will be all sunshine with quickly warming temperatures from the 50s this morning to the low 80s this afternoon. Grab a light jacket as you head out this evening, temperatures will cool into the 60s. We’ll start out the weekend with clear skies and temperatures in the upper 50s on Saturday morning. Expect a sunny and very warm Saturday with temperatures close to the record high of 87° set in 1939. A cold front will pass through the area Saturday night bringing some clouds, spotty showers and cooler temperatures for the second half of the weekend. Highs on Sunday will only reach the low to mid 70s.
