MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Home Telcom is now offering free WiFi access to customers throughout the Nexton community.
SmartTown WiFi is different from regular public WiFi because it uses the same secure network that customers have at home. Home Telecom states that connecting through SmartTown WiFi provides an extra layer of protection against hacks, viruses, and other malicious attacks.
According to Home Telecom, free SmartTown WiFi will give customers internet connectivity in more areas throughout Nexton. The initial areas where SmartTown WiFi will be accessible include Nexton Square, Brighton Park Great Lawn, The Hub, and Brown Family Park.
