Flood Watch in place for parts of Southeast Georgia, Lowcountry…how much rain is possible

A Flood Watch is in effect until 7pm Thursday for most counties west of I-95 in the Lowcountry and Southeast Georgia. Periods of rain and thunderstorms may lead to locally heavy rainfall in some locations. Rainfall totals of 2″-5″+ are possible from Wednesday evening through Thursday in the watch area. If you live closer to I-95 or the coast totals will be a bit less, in the 1″-2″+ range.
