Record rainfall drenches Southeast Georgia, Lowcountry…a look at when drier weather returns

Heavy downpours across Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry from Wednesday evening through Thursday led to record rain totals and flooding. In Savannah, the all-time November rainfall record was broken. The total of 4.35″ on Thursday set not only a daily rainfall record, but was also the wettest November day on record. The rain total broke the previous record of 4.13″ set November 18, 1898.
