CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Drier air behind our late-week cold front has made for a very comfortable start to the weekend! Unlike the record-tying temperatures we saw on Friday, afternoon highs spanned the 70s on Saturday with plenty of sunshine for most of the day. Our next storm system from the west will begin to increase our cloud cover tonight, with a mostly cloudy sky expected to govern our Sunday. Overnight lows will still fall into the 50s inland (60s near the coast); afternoon highs on Sunday should recover into the 70s again in spite of less sunshine.
