Hampton County’s sheriff said the arrest was made possible thanks to the “exemplary skills” of K-9 Achilles and his handler.

“We remain dedicated to targeting the sources of illegal drugs in our county and protecting our citizens,” said Sheriff Anthony Russell. “Marijuana is illegal in the State of South Carolina, and this arrest sends a strong message to those engaged in drug trafficking that Hampton County will continue to pursue justice with all resources available.”
