CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Detectives are trying to identify a person accused of assaulting a grocery store employee while stealing merchandise.
The Charleston Police Department said an unknown female attempted to steal several items from the Food Lion on Savannah Highway last week.
When confronted by an employee, police said the suspect pushed the victim and punched them in the face.
Police shared surveillance photos of an individual believed to have committed the strong-arm robbery.
