Overnight front to bring sunshine, colder temperatures this weekend!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Clear skies are set to prevail for the first weekend of 2025, but make sure to keep your coats handy if you’re planning to be outdoors!. Overnight, a dry cold front will push offshore – the same front responsible for our Friday morning clouds and gusty winds. As the front continues to move eastward, gusts should gradually diminish to between 5-10 MPH by daybreak Saturday, except higher near Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion. While winds are not calm, expect overnight lows to cool into the upper 20s and low 30s; wind chills for everyone should land into the mid to upper 20s early Saturday morning.
