LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) – The American Red Cross is assisting multiple families in the Lowcountry after weekend fires damaged their homes. Aid has been distributed to a family of five in Hampton County after a fire damaged their home, while two Berkeley County people have received support after their home in Saint Stephen was damaged in a fire. The Red Cross said both families are receiving financial assistance for immediate needs, namely food, clothing, and shelter.
