Engineered Foam Packaging (EFP) will invest $31.5 million to expand its Bishopville facility in Lee County, SC, a move expected to enhance production capabilities and create new jobs.
According to EFP, it plans to expand its Bishopville facility by adding 200,000 square feet, boosting production capacity for advanced expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP). This expansion is designed to meet the increasing demand from the company’s expanding customer base.
The company anticipates that the expanded operations will be fully operational by April 2026.
