Dorchester County deputies, K-9 catch man with warrants in multiple counties

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is announcing a successful arrest of a man who had multiple warrants out, saying it’s all thanks to the help of one of their K-9 officers.

Timothy Joseph Nadeau, 36, of St. George, is charged in Dorchester County with resisting arrest, giving false information to police and violation of probation or parole. He faces additional charges in Berkeley County as there are warrants out for his arrest there, too. The nature of those charges was not divulged.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Steven Wright says the arrest happened Sunday, with deputies arriving to a home on the 100 block of Home Farm Road to apprehend Nadeau and serve him warrants.

Citing Nadeau’s “violent criminal history,” which allegedly include threatening the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, officials made the decision to send several deputies to make this arrest…
