Coroner IDs man and woman found dead after alleged murder-suicide in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The county coroner’s office identified the man and woman who died in what law enforcement described as a “domestic-related” shooting in North Charleston.

Brianna Nelson, 20, from North Charleston, died at around 9:40 p.m. at the scene off Ward Street from a gunshot wound, Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal reported.

The man, Travis Wright, 28, from North Charleston, then fled the scene of the shooting and shot himself on Midland Park Road. He was then found there and pronounced dead at 11:19 p.m. as a result of the self-inflicted gunshot wound, O’Neal said…
