BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – A new face will soon join the Berkeley County School Board. Jerald “JB” Borden Jr. defeated Jannie McConnell in Tuesday’s special election to fill the District 8 seat.
According to unofficial election results, Borden won the race by 49 votes, with 740 people total casting their ballots at the polls.
